Painting Descriptions:
- Painting “South China Tiger Madonna”: (Left)
Painted by Malaysian born artist Hoeyyn Ngu, this painting is based on a real photo of the tiger Madonna, currently under Rewilding Training in South Africa. The painting captured the beauty, power and grace of Madonna in the artist’s own interpretation. Born in March in Shanghai Zoo of China in 2004, Madonna has successfully regained her survival abilities in the wild since she was translocated to Laohu Valley in SA in Nov 2004. Her offsprings will be returned to China’s Wild.

Painted by Malaysian born artist Hoeyyn Ngu, this painting is based on a real photo of the South China Tiger cub Madonna in Shanghai Zoo, before she was translocated to South Africa. The artist captured the cuteness and ferocity of these little tiger cubs. Born in March in Shanghai Zoo of China in 2004, Madonna has successfully regained her survival abilities in the wild since she was translocated to Laohu Valley in SA in Nov 2004. Her wild offsprings will be returned back to China’s Wild.

The Artist:
The Malaysian Artist Hoeyyn Ngu was born in 1977 and began drawing at age 4. She graduated from The One Academy in 1999 and at the meantime she has studied under Chinese Calligraphy Master Chuan Hak Nai. Her deep understanding of western and eastern arts accomplished her unique painting style. Her art works were shown in several art exhibition throughout the country. She was invited to exhibit for the Malaysian Prime Minister’s art exhibition in year 2005. Hoeyyn Ngu was one of the leading teacher in The One Academy before she moved to London. Hoeyyn now lives in London where she is doing her 3rd art exhibition.

Auction Bidding Procedures:
The two paintings “Tiger Madonna” and “South China Tiger cubs” will be auctioned to raise fund for Save China’s Tigers. Winning bid will be announced at 9pm on Nov 23rd at the opening of Hoeyyn Ngu’s exhibition at the Innes Lounge, Mayfair, London.
To participate in the auction:
- Complete the form below together with a single donation of £1.
- Following completion of the form you will recieve a transaction ID.
- To bid please email Susan Long at susan.long@savechinastigers.org with your transaction ID.
- Bids must be made in £10 increments.
- Bids close at 8.30pm on Nov 23 2007.
- Last recieved bids will be posted on the SCT website.
- Paintings can be viewed at the Innes Lounge, 8 Shepherd Street, Mayfair, London W1J 7JE upon request from now until November 23 2007.
