Comment on Daily Mail article -tiger riding on horse
As the only charitable organization working to restore the critically endangered South China tiger to wilderness protected reserves in China, we are deeply disturbed by the abuse of wild animals in this manner. Forcing tigers or other predators to ride on the back of a horse is not only unnatural for a feline predator; it is fundamentally contradictory to their basic social instincts. The use of a majestic animals to demonstrate a human’s ability to force, intimidate and control their wildness? Not only mocks the dignity of the tiger, but diminishes the dignity and humanity of the audience. Save China’s Tigers encourages those concerned about the ethical treatment of animals to avoid such sad and base exhibitions.
Save China's Tigers will do all within its power to communicate with the Chinese government on this issue. Save China's Tigers has already achieved certain success in the past years to let a number of zoo-born South China Tigers regain its hunting abilities in natural conditions in South Africa and breed them. Save China's Tigers is working to help China establish Pilot Tiger Reserves to which zoo born South China Tigers as well as other animals could be returned to live a wild life. We thank our supporters to help us achieve this goal.

I am disturbed by exhibitions of predatory wild animals performing un-natural acts as well as other cruel acts such as live-feeding for the amusement of paying audiences, and demand the concerned zoos and parks stop such activities.
Please continue to help our effort to return the South China Tigers back to the wild. MAKE A DONATION:
