Death of Madonna's Cub

We are extremely sad to report that Madonna's cub died on 20th April 2008, Sunday at 2.15am at Lory Park Animal and Owl Sanctury where the cub had been handreared. At around 5pm on Saturday 19th, Lory Park informed us the cub had a high temperature and convulsions and was being rushed to the vet in Pretoria. At 8.30 pm or so, the Vet nurse had returned to Lory Park with the cub on an IV to keep him hydrated. His temperature had gone down and convulsions had stopped.
However at 2.15 am, the one week old died. An autopsy is being conducted and we are awaiting the results.
