Week 356 ( 18th - 24th June 2010 )
Madonna and 327 mate and Cathay struggles with mood swings
Madonna had hardly set foot in the new camp and 327 had hardly had time to take cognisance of her arrival when she began her seduction - walking up to him and chuffing copiously in greeting. As she drew closer she lay down on her belly and crawled closer, hesitating slightly until she received a chuff from him. This was the signal she had been looking for and then there was no stopping her. She flung herself in front of his feet and rubbed the top of her head under his chin and chuffed herself silly. He moved off a couple of metres and she lay still for a few moments before approaching him again with the same seductive moves. He was more interested in reading the messages that she had left upon entering and once again walked off. A third time she tried and this time he fell victim to her feminine wiles. He mounted her and they maintained this position for a minute and he dismounted. Once again he moved off with the intent to investigate further and she again flung herself in front of him. He mounted her, held the position and then dismounted, he then turned on his tail and mounted her again. Aside from much chuffing all three mountings were silent affairs.
Cathay fussed around a bush for a moment and then walked up Ripples fence, past 327, and then down the Ravine Camp’s fence. As she reached the river she came face-to-face with TW. He tried to sniff under her tail; she tried to sniff under his tail and they pawed one another’s faces. The next moment Cathay reared up on her hind legs with an alarming roar and TigerWoods cowered. She then backed him into a bush and glowered at him for a moment before turning round and spraying a nearby clump of reeds. She then walked off a few paces and lay down, Some time later she once again got stuck into TigerWoods in a stand-up fight with ferocious roaring, growling and claw-waving. The fight was soon over and TW presented himself in the annex for inspection. He had no discernable signs of his involvement in the fight other than a claw sheath stuck in the side of his face just behind his whiskers. Cathay was also none the worse for wear.
